Four years after the couple’s last breakup, Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman have decided to call it quits for good.
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Danny Devito and his Cheers legend wife, Rhea Perlman have split up once again. Friends of the couple told Radar Online that “this time it looks like the end.”
It was only a month ago that Rhea Perlman was boasting about Devito, calling him her “hubby” on Twitter, but the two have apparently been living separate lives. Devito and Perlman have been married for 34 years. They are currently in the midst of discussing a $140 million divorce.
Danny and Rhea have three grown children together: Daniel, 29, Grace, 31, and Lucy, 33. According to sources, the pair has broken up and gotten back together many times before ultimately deciding on divorce.

On Tuesday, California’s 2nd Appellate District ruled (PDF) on a celebrity case that had been out of the public eye for a while:Mel Gibson’s disputes with his ex-wife, Oksana Grigorieva. The case is technically titled ““M.G. v. O.G.,” but the numerous details in the order make it perfectly clear who’s involved. The court affirmed a previous ruling in Gibson’s favor to the effect that that Grigorieva violated the terms of an out of court settlement between the two by addressing her domestic abuse allegations against Gibson.

You may recall that in 2010, Grigorieva recorded her phone conversations with a disturbingly unhinged Gibson, including one (embedded above) where he threatened to kill her, saying “I’ll put you in a f—ing rose garden you c–t! You understand that? Because I’m capable of it. You understand that?” If he had much of a career left, that changed. Grigorieva sued Gibson in separate cases (one for paternity of their child, one for battery and defamation), and according to the appellate ruling, here’s how those were resolved:
At the same time, the parties entered into a separate settlement agreement to resolve O.G.’s civil claims, pursuant to which M.G. agreed to pay O.G. a total of $750,000 in three equal installments spread over the course of five years. As part of the settlement agreement, O.G. agreed to keep confidential “any and all information and facts related to the asserted claims and events underlying this Agreement.” The agreement specified that a breach of the confidentiality obligation would result in O.G.’s forfeiture of all outstanding installments of the $750,000 settlement payment.
From there, nothing really happened until Grigorieva appeared on The Howard Stern Show on May 21, 2013:
While Grigorieva never outright said in the interview that Gibson physically abused her, in the context of the interview, it’s clear that she’s giving credence to Stern’s statements about Gibson hitting her. That’s where Gibson objected, and that’s why the appellate court agreed with Gibson. From the ruling:
Drew Barrymore has officially filed for divorce from Will Kopleman.
The 41-year-old actress reportedly filed official papers in a Manhattan court in New York on Friday (07.15.16), three months after announcing the end of their four-year marriage.
The divorce documents describe Barrymore’s petition as “uncontested”, according to the New York Daily News newspaper.
Barrymore and art consultant Kopelman, who wed in June 2012, have two daughters together – Olive, three, and Frankie, two – and said when they announced their split that their girls were their “first priority”.
Since then, Barrymore, who has been married twice before, and her estranged husband have divided their time between New York and Los Angeles in a bid to share parenting responsibilities.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that the Hollywood star is set to become a talk show host.
The ‘Miss You Already’ actress is reportedly in talks about being at the helm of her own chat show in a joint deal with Warner Bros. and Ellen DeGeneres’ A Very Good Production company.
Despite her marriage troubles, Barrymore previously revealed the “strength” and joy she takes from being with her children.
When asked what makes her happy, she shared: “Just strength. Now that I’m a mom, and I know that it harkens back to the girls, aside from that, it really is girl power, badass. It is strength, clarity, conviction, health and focus …
“It’s funny, because there are times in my life that I am so loosey-goosey, so hedonistic, and it is so just ‘hippy-dippy,’ but right now I feel this great backbone is, ‘One foot in front of the other,’ which is sort of my attitude right now. That is anything but loosey-goosey – that if you don’t stay in a straight line, you are going to get into trouble.”
Wen Catherine Falk asked to see her ailing father, her stepmother shut the door in her face. When Kerri Kasem arrived to take her dying father to a hospital, her stepmother met her in the driveway — and hurled raw hamburger at her.The confrontations sparked headlines because the women’s fathers were well-known public figures — actor Peter Falk and legendary DJ Casey Kasem. Both died while costly family legal squabbles raged over the visitation rights of their daughters and other relatives.
“It cost me $400,000 to see my father,” Kerri Kasem recalled recently as she rushed to catch a flight to New Mexico and testify before the Legislature in Santa Fe. Her Kasem Cares Foundation is backing a bill she said would make it easier for friends and relatives to visit ailing elders.
“I don’t want others to go through what we went through,” says Kasem, 43, “emotionally and financially.”
On the same day, Catherine Falk, 44, was heading to Utah and a legislative appearance to promote a similar visitation bill supported by the Catherine Falk Organization.

Though Falk and Kasem work independently, they’ve become a powerful one-two punch for reforming visitation laws, stumping for change in more than 30 states. Falk says her proposed legislation is now being considered in 10 states; Kasem’s bill has already been adopted in three — California, Iowa and Texas.
The two agree their efforts are getting notice because of their celebrity fathers, and have little problem with such an advantage. “This isn’t the Casey Kasem Bill, or the Mickey Rooney Bill, or the B.B. King Bill,” Kasem said, referring to other personalities who went through similar elder battles. “It’s the Visitation Rights Bill, and it affects thousands in the U.S.”
Kasem and Falk are contacted regularly by people with horror stories to share, such as the Colorado woman who described her mother’s common-law husband as an abusive alcoholic who prevented the rest of the family from seeing her, then beat her. The mother ended up in a rehab facility after a fall and the daughter was not allowed to visit. Not long after, the daughter learned her mother had died.
Though the coroner was called, she said, there was no autopsy and her mother’s body was cremated.
“I do not know where her remains are,” the woman said.
